Water Fowling in Washington

The suffix 'fowl' in the term waterfowl indicates that many of these species are hunted for game. Although the Washington Waterfowl Association supports water fowling, this organization is also a strong proponent for the conservation of waterfowl habitat. For information on WWA and waterfowl hunting regulations in Washington, visit their website.

Seattle Waterfowl Identification Guide
